Founders

Stylist Adam Bryce founded slamxhype in 2003 as a blog bringing together his perspective on streetwear, fashion, and art. Over the past 6 years as the readership and editorial direction has grown, the site now has a more art heavy focus and its fashion perspective has grown and matured. Adam is still heavily involved in the daily running of the site acting as  Editor in Chief and Creative Director alongside a team of editors based all around the world. Adam grew up obsessed with Fashion and its sub cultures, whether it be skateboarding, sports, hip hop, punk, the impact sneaker culture played on both of them at a young age, growing up in an age when Streetwear reigned Supreme, but always looking towards high fashion and art for inspiration.

“I can remember reading Vogue from the age of 6, well before I read any books, when I was a teenager I would stack piles on piles of Thrasher, The Face, Vogue, it was an obsession. I started collecting Margiela before I could spell his name, I had sneakers to the roof, trading lunch and text books for Jordans and Shell toes. Nothing’s really changed, only now I share my obsession with the world” - Adam Bryce
